Digital Playground is combining debuts with this movie. They are letting new contract babe Devon headline the first DP effort from award winning director Nic Andrews. This pretty blonde is already on her third contract and I can't imagine why any company would get her go. She's really pretty with big, gorgeous eyes and a body built for pleasure. DP has to be really pleased to add this cutie to their roster. I know they were glad to nab Andrews who collected a whole lot of awards in the last couple of years. Breaking both new acquisitions out in the same movie is a bold move, but it's hardly the only big deal about this flick. After all, it does have Ginger Lynn in the cast. If you ask me, that's a pretty good reason to check this flick out even if you've never heard of Devon or Nic Andrews.

Devon is an aspiring actress who starts the movie by going on an audition. She meets up with a casting director (Who looks an awful lot like AVN's Tod Hunter) who just wants to see her tits. It's a day of frustration and humiliation as she goes from one bogus audition to another. At the end of the long day she comes home to her boyfriend. (Barrett I would imagine.) He has fun on his mind and lays Devon down for some slow and gentle loving. He starts at her feet and licks his way up to her inviting pussy. With the soft music in the background, she returns the favor. Thankfully it's not a complete slo-mo scene so we get to watch this pretty girl give some enthusiastic head. (Love the double fisted hand action.) He puts her on her hands and knees so we get a quick shot of her very nice butt during the brief doggy. He rolls her over and nails her for a while longer before leaving his load on her belly.

Devon's good friend Ginger has a suggestion to help her pay the bills. She suggests stripping and the two women have a bit of a tiff over the morality of such a career. (Ginger is stripping and her young friend is more than a little closed minded.) There is some good dialog here and I have never seen Devon handle dialog this well. Of course, Ginger steals the scene turning in a really fine performance. It doesn't take Devon too long to reconsider her position though. Later that night, she stops by to watch Ginger dance. She puts on one hell of a show and we get to watch it all. Intrigued now, Devon listens as Ginger spells out all of the tricks of her trade.

Devon has changed her mind already and watching Ginger give Anthony Crane a lap dance only makes her more interested. While that is going on, the club owner, Herschel Savage is giving one of his girls a little orientation lecture. With some gentle suggestions, he manages to get a private show from pretty young Monica. She moves around behind the desk, gives him a quick blowjob then mounts his lap. The squat fucking looks good, but the best footage comes with the pretty blonde bent over his desk. Herschel welcomes her to the club with a big load on her face.

Devon catches on fast and a month later we get to check out her great floor show. She gets called into Herschel's office and he turns on the ooze pretty hard. Instead of fucking him, she runs into the bathroom to cry. Two other strippers, Monica Mayhem and Nikita Kash, fill her in on some of the requirements of her new job. Devon runs out of the room, leaving the girls to do a little lesbian loving on the counter. If you like softly shot lesbian encounters in bathrooms, you might really like this. (But I don't remember Monica M having fake tits before.)

Her new career is upsetting Devon's man. He doesn't like the way she's talking and has gone from romantic guy to borderline stalker. She tosses his guitar out the door and gives him the boot. At the club, Ginger encourages Devon to work him out of her system by picking up a guy and fucking the shit out of him. Ginger does some excellent dialog here. We don't get to see the grudge fuck, but we do see a scene between Devon and Holly Hollywood. Devon does some really nice looking labe lapping, but we've already gone over my veggie sex limit for one movie.

As her acting career continues to go nowhere, Devon turns to private parties as a way to make the extra cash she needs. She and Daniella Rush get up close and personal with Julian and other guy. The girls split up and Julian ends up in a bedroom with Devon. The soft music and the white background are very arty with that couples feel, but watching Devon suck on his big cock is pure hot smut. He somehow manages to slide it all the way into her tight little pleasure pouch, giving us some great footage as he goes at her from behind. Julian finally pulls out and shoots all over her butt.

The story takes a bit of a roller coaster ride from here to the end. Things go from good to bad to good to terrible and finally back to good again for our heroine. Digital Playground has to be thrilled with the debuts of both Devon and Andrews. Their first effort has to be an early favorite for the Rog Reviews Best Feature Award. Some of the sex isn't exactly my speed, but that's true of every feature these days. There are some hot sexual moments as well and most of them come from Devon. Her scene with Julian is the best of the movie, with Monica Mayhem and Herschel Savage coming in second. Devon shines sexually and looks great. Her acting is pretty good, but if you're looking for best non-sex performance in the movie it has to go to Ginger Lynn. Her dialog scenes are excellent and should not be forgotten come award time. Nicely shot with some great tease and decent sex, this movie has a good script that is well acted and a cut above your average feature. Devon Stripped is great for couples and is a very well crafted adult movie.

Starring: Devon, Ginger Lynn, April, Monica Sweetheart, Monica Mayhem, Barett, Julian, Heschel Savage, Holly Hollywood. Devon played a role of struggling actress turned stripper with such believabilty. I think the cast as a whole did a great job in showing part of the adult dancing industry, having worked in it myself. This movie was similar to a time when erotica had a story to tell.

It was outstanding, as everything took place in a well ordered sequence.

I though that this movie could easily go back in time when erotica would tell a story and have a very believable storyline without losing its sexuality.

The best part was watching Devon go from struggling actress to big time entertainer, and getting rid of the loser boyfriend who mooched off her. This was another believable plot because if anyone knows anything about the dancing business it is full of guys who enjoy getting all they can from a qoman and then bitch because they show all to guys everynight.

It would have been nice to see Ginger Lynn in a sex scene instead of just a supporting star role.
