There is no doubt that DVD is the right format for this film. Like 'Latex' the art direction and vistual style of 'Shock' is second to none. In these areas, Ninn is nothing short of a genius. Where he sometimes falls short, for my taste anyway, is when this style overtakes the sexual heat. That happens more often in this film than in Latex, which is unforunate. Jeanna Fine, Shayla LaVeaux and Tyffany Million all turn in scenes that are so hot they fight through the layers of 'art' and deliver hard-core smut. The script is a rather out there, but it wraps up the story quite nicely. Dough and Million do a nice job with their dialog. Sunset and Shayla put on a great g/g show and the gargoyle scene is one of the very best I have seen Shayla do, and it just edges out Jeanna's Maryilyn open for second best in the movie. Top sexual honors go to Ms. Million who just her world rocked by North and Decker. Even with these sexual highlights, the style too ofetn overtakes th sustance, making this an adult movie not for everyone. If you like the Ninn style or better yet, if you just want to see the second half of 'Latex', add this one to your must own list.
